Software & Systems Architect  /  Málaga, Spain

I build systems
that still work
when the demo
is over.

18+ years shipping production software. Today I design reliable platforms, agentic AI, and developer tooling where observability, clear boundaries, and human judgment are part of the architecture.

Selected projects

Independent work across coding agents, desktop software, embedded systems, and long-running agent research.

AI-native systems · Local-first alpha

Synthesis OS

An AI-native desktop layer for macOS.

Requests become typed system calls handled by a Rust kernel that coordinates native tools, memory, and model execution. Policies determine which actions run directly and which require review.

Embedded systems · Open source

ApexTX

Racing firmware built for real hardware.

Independent firmware for the FlySky Noble NB4, with responsive steering and throttle, AFHDS3 support, lap timing, telemetry, and interfaces shaped by the transmitter’s constraints.

Used at IFMAR Worlds.

Long-running agents · Private R&D

Vera

Research into long-running agents.

Vera explores persistent memory, layered identity, policy-controlled evolution, and continuity across sessions. Its architecture separates memory, behavior, and controlled changes over time.

Professional experience

Production work across application architecture, delivery, cloud infrastructure, integrations, incident response, and long-term maintenance.

Architecture / Engineering

Square1

Architecture and engineering across high-traffic editorial platforms and shared services, spanning application design, cloud infrastructure, delivery, incident response, and production reliability.

Systems / Full-stack delivery

Telefilms

Software supporting film distribution and regional operations, built around the less glamorous constraints that make production systems difficult: integrations, changing workflows, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

Working principles

01

Readable systems.

Important behavior should be inspectable in logs, interfaces, and code instead of being hidden behind a model.

02

Proportionate review.

Routine actions can run automatically. Expensive, destructive, sensitive, or irreversible actions need a review point.

03

Failure is part of the design.

Recovery and predictable degradation are considered during implementation, not added after launch.
